About three hundred Maltese goats are raised on the farm. This Italian breed, of Mediterranean origin, produces milk with a moderate odour and taste, characteristics that are favourable for the consumption of derived products.

Animal feed is based on farm grazing, hay and NO GM maize and barley feed.

The farm is very attentive to the respect of animal welfare, which is based on the choice of a breed raised in central-south Italy and the islands, therefore well adapted to the territory, the availability of adequate space in shelters, access to outdoor runs and grazing and maternal breast-feeding of kids.
